Message Before Buying

If you’re planning on using numbing cream, please read this before your appointment.

Due to current regulations in Wales, we can only tattoo clients using safe and approved products. 

The Simple Rule

If you can buy it from a chemist or pharmacy, it’s safe to use.

If it’s from an online tattoo site or marketplace, avoid it.

What to Avoid

  • Tattoo numbing creams from random websites

  • Amazon / eBay / social media sellers

  • Products with no clear ingredients or branding

What’s Acceptable

  • Pharmacy-bought creams

  • Clearly labelled products

  • Original packaging

Why This Matters

Numbing creams are classed as medical products and must meet strict safety standards.

Unregulated products can cause reactions, affect healing, and may make it unsafe to proceed with the tattoo.

Studio Policy

  • We do not supply or apply numbing cream

  • You must apply it yourself before your appointment

  • You may be asked to show the product on arrival
